DataGen Users Gather at HANYS to Discuss Reform, Quality, and Reimbursement

DataGen held its annual users group meeting last week at its offices in Rensselaer. Health finance staff from many of the 37 state hospital/health care associations to which DataGen provides its products and services participated in the two-day event. DataGen, a HANYS Solutions company, offers a line of products providing information-based tools that support the operations, advocacy, and educational needs of hospitals, health care systems, hospital/health care associations, researchers, and consultants.

The interactive sessions focused on the early efforts to implement provisions of health care reform, its effect on hospitals and other health care providers, and on how tools and information can support hospital/health care association efforts to guide their providers through the changing health care landscape. The sessions also focused on the ever-increasing interaction between health care quality and health care reimbursement.
