New Program Takes Closer Look at APR-DRG System

DataGen Academy will hold an Insight into APR-DRGs Webconference on March 31 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This Webconference picks up where the December 17 APR-DRG Impact Analysis program left off. Faculty will provide a more in-depth look into the All Patient Refined Diagnosis Related Group (APR-DRG) methodology, a comprehensive overview, facility-specific historical data, and tips and tricks that apply under the new methodology.

The program will also include a discussion, led by an expert physician, on the importance of accurate and complete medical record documentation, with guidance pertaining to APR-DRGs and the revenue recovery audit world in which hospitals must operate.
